In Brazil, Nadia created the International Day of Peace, considered by the United Nations the most significant International Day of Peace event in Latin America (2010). The events gathered 3000 people and encompassed several performances celebrating cultural diversity and peacebuilding with participants from diverse nationalities and ethnicities.
Nadia designed and directed "Cultura de Paz alem Fronteiras" (Cultures of Peace Beyond Frontiers) promoting intercultural dialogue and peacebuilding with participants from Uruguay, Italy, Brazil and Malawi (Masankho Kamsisi Banda).
Invited by the Brazilian Government Nadia designed and coordinated the program "Empowering Youth" with FilmMaking and Performance in collaboration with ProJovem Adolescente and CRAS – Center of Social Assistance.
As a professional performer for over 20 years, Nadia actively engaged in the Cia Teatral do Movimento (Founder, Play writer,Performer) in Brazil. She also co-founded with Masankho Banda Constellation Performance Ensemble performed at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell, in the Bay Area Nadia is part of Wing It Ensemble (Performer).
